Owner/Founder
Liz Fornari M.S. OTR/L
Liz is an expert Pediatric Occupational Therapist and creator of Strong Start. After graduating from Ithaca College in 2006 with a Master's in Occupational Science, she began her Occupational Therapy career in young adult traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and stroke rehabilitation. This experience ignited a lifelong passion for neurology, motor development, and sensory processing and led her to her true professional calling, pediatrics. In her 14+ years as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, Liz has treated children of all abilities and further specialized in the under-five population. She has completed extensive continuing education in sensory processing, fine and visual motor development, reflex integration, and motor control. Liz's dedication to enriching the lives of children, fostering a nurturing environment for caregivers to learn, and promoting best practices in Occupational Therapy led to the creation of Strong Start.
